1. I worked as a freelancer for 5 years. Here's my rentacoder.com profile link:

I was one of the top coders there and participated in around 200 projects that involved graphics, coding, SEO, copywriting, proofreading and so forth. I was at the receiving end of a couple of scams throughout my career and I must say, it's not a pretty feeling knowing you just lost a few hours/days of your life for someone that ran away with your work and is now laughing his scammy ass off. I would never want a fellow freelancer to go through what I went.
2. I recently started an SEO company and despite the fact that we're still small, I must say, I learnt so much about valuing the work of others. I didn't really see things from the buyer's perspective when I worked as a freelancer and honestly, I didn't really care. I just wanted him to be happy with the work and SHOW ME TEH MONEH! Now, being a buyer, I understand the need for mutual respect so much better! Especially on deals done on the Internet, where a word strong as oak is your most valuable asset in business.
3. I'm a community man. I never got banned from anywhere and I'm not planning to either. I love being part of a community and oh my God, have I found a great one here! You can also check me out at the Digital Point forums, user: Tudi
Best wishes to everyone!
